Your shop's signature surface — designed for daily work, client photos, and decades of patina.

A branding wall is the first thing clients photograph and the last thing they remember. It must carry your logo, survive clipper vibration and product spray, and look refined under both daylight and evening dimmers. We reject vinyl decals and peel-and-stick solutions — every Underconge wall is built by Stockholm craftspeople with real materials.

Material Palette

Our Scandinavian-minimal palette centres on charcoal (#2a2a2a), warm white (#fafafa), and brass (#b8860b). Feature walls introduce texture within this restraint:

Charred Timber (Shou Sugi Ban)

Swedish pine, flame-treated and oiled. Deep black with subtle grain relief. Excellent acoustic absorption when slatted.

Brass Logo Reveal

3 mm brushed brass letters or monogram router-cut into MDF, flush-mounted in charcoal plaster. Treated with clear lacquer to prevent tarnish in humid wash areas.

Limewash Plaster

Hand-applied Kalkfärg in warm grey or off-white. Soft depth without pattern fatigue. Pairs with brass shelf brackets for product display.

Reclaimed Oak Slats

Sourced from demolished Stockholms buildings. Vertical slats at 40 mm spacing with black felt backing. Warm contrast against charcoal stations.

Powder-Coated Steel

Matte black or brass-tone steel panels with welded shelf ledges. Industrial durability for high-traffic reception zones.

Integrated Retail Niche

Backlit alcoves with brass trim for pomade, beard oil, and merch. LED strip at 2700K, CRI 90. Custom joinery included.

Design Process

  1. Brand audit — We review your logo files, typography, and competitor landscape. Identify the wall location with best sightlines from entry and waiting area.
  2. Concept sketches — Two A3 hand sketches plus digital elevation. Material samples (10 × 10 cm) couriered to your address within 5 days.
  3. Technical drawings — Joinery details, fixing methods, and coordination with electrical for any integrated lighting.
  4. Fabrication — Stockholm workshop production. Typical lead time 3–4 weeks.
  5. Installation — 1–2 day on-site fit by our approved contractors. Touch-up kit provided for future maintenance.

Photography & Social Media

Every branding wall is verified against three camera positions: client seated in chair (mirror selfie angle), standing at reception, and wide shot from entry. We ensure no competing visual clutter and adequate task-light separation so photos read clearly on Instagram and Google Business Profile.
