We are the data controller responsible for personal data processed through our website underconge.boats and in the course of providing barbershop interior design services.
2. What Data We Collect
2.1 Website visitors

2.2 Clients and enquirers
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, company name.
- Project information: lease plans, floor areas, budget ranges, location addresses, and correspondence.

- Site documentation: photographs and measurements taken during surveys.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish Data Protection Act (Dataskyddslagen), we process personal data on the following bases:
- Contract performance — to deliver design services you have commissioned.

- Enquiry data (no contract signed): 24 months from last contact.
- Active project data: duration of project plus 36 months.
- Financial records: 7 years per Bokföringslagen.

- Analytics data: 26 months (if consent given).

Terms of Service
11. Agreement to Terms
By accessing underconge.boats or engaging Underconge Atelier AB for services, you agree to these Terms of Service in addition to our Privacy Policy above. If you disagree, please do not use our website or services.
12. Services Description
Underconge Atelier provides barbershop and men's grooming interior design services including but not limited to space planning, lighting design, branding wall design, FF&E specification, procurement assistance, and site supervision. We are interior designers, not general contractors or structural engineers. Structural modifications require separate licensed professionals.
13. Quotations and Contracts
- Website pricing is indicative. Binding quotes are provided in writing and valid for 60 days unless otherwise stated.
- All fees are quoted excluding 25% Swedish VAT unless explicitly marked inclusive.
- A signed service agreement and deposit (typically 40%) are required before work commences.
- Scope changes requested after technical design delivery are billed as additional revision rounds (SEK 5,400 per round) or re-quoted if substantial.
14. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate lease information, building plans, and timely feedback (48-hour turnaround assumed in timelines).
- Obtain landlord and municipal approvals where required.
- Hire and manage licensed contractors for construction work.
- Ensure site access for surveys and supervision visits.
- Pay invoices according to agreed payment schedule.
15. Intellectual Property
All design drawings, 3D models, mood boards, and specifications remain the intellectual property of Underconge Atelier AB until full payment is received. Upon final payment, clients receive a non-exclusive licence to use deliverables for the specified project site. We retain the right to photograph completed projects for portfolio and marketing unless a confidentiality clause is agreed in writing.
16. Liability
Our liability is limited to the total fees paid under the relevant service agreement. We are not liable for contractor errors, supplier delays, building code violations by third parties, or indirect losses including lost revenue. Professional indemnity insurance is maintained at SEK 5,000,000 per claim.
17. Cancellation
- Client cancellation before concept delivery: deposit forfeited; no further charges.
- Client cancellation after concept delivery: payment due for all work completed to date plus 25% of remaining contract value.
- Underconge cancellation (exceptional circumstances): full refund of unused deposit within 14 days.
18. Website Use
Website content is provided for general information. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant that content is complete or current. Portfolio images and project values are representative; individual results vary. Unauthorised reproduction of website content, drawings, or imagery is prohibited.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Stockholms tingsrätt (Stockholm District Court). Consumer clients may also use ARN (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden) for alternative dispute resolution.
